Traditional Singaporean cakes and pastries, their flavors originate from the Hainanese people who came to Singapore early on to make a living. They worked for Westerners, combining Western dining with Southeast Asian tastes, and invented a unique Nanyang breakfast culture that is greatly loved by locals.
